Prest Management, a specialist in dock staff placement in the port of Douala, is recruiting a qualified Security Officer for ground handling.
Your role
- Monitor and control access to work areas
- Protect goods, equipment and facilities
- Ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- Prevent theft, incidents and suspicious activity
- Patrol regularly and write incident reports
- Enforce quay safety rules and procedures
- React quickly to any anomaly and alert management
Candidate profile
- Good physical condition and neat appearance
- Experience in industrial or port security preferred
- Knowledge of safety rules and port procedures
- Observant, vigilant and responsive
- Rigour, integrity and a sense of responsibility
- Immediately available
- Professional security card (a plus)
Working conditions
- Location: port of Douala
- Fixed-term contract
